Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT IS THE BEST FILE TYPE TO PRINT FROM?
The best file type to print from is a .pdf file. With a .pdf, we eliminate font and layout
issues as well as resolution problems. With a .pdf, what you see is what you get.
WHAT IS A BLEED?
The most common issue we encounter in printing is a bleed. If you want your
printed image to reach the edge of the page, you need to have a bleed. A bleed
is defined as the part of the image that extends beyond the finished size of your
document. To eliminate the white border and facilitate a full bleed, we print your
documents on a larger paper and cut them down, so we need excess image to cut off.
For an example, see the attached template for a business card.
